I have been involved in cheerleading as a child and young adult before taking on a part time assistant coaching role with ADA 4 years ago. Since then we have created an under 18's team and I have been head coach with ADA for two years. We are a relatively new team who offer unified classes to children and adults of all abilities. We hope to compete in our first season in 2022 and continue with our exhibition displays.

I have found this course to be invaluable in helping me support the mind, body and soul of our team. The course is very in-depth and challenges old mindsets of the methodology of teaching /coaching. Focus is now on the athlete as a whole and not focused on one aspect at all costs as it was when I first joined the sport. I have also learned a lot about my own capabilities both as a coach and as a disabled athlete which has improved my coaching technique and mindset.
I am available for external coaching, choreography, exhibitions and displays.
