The INTENSITY™ Cheer Conditioning programme was designed for cheerleading athletes. It's a body and skill transformation workout created by cheerleading fitness professionals, for cheerleaders to develop the correct muscle memory for cheer skills. It will push you to the best of your abilities, develop your motor skills, power, speed and endurance that will maximise what your body is capable of. It will help cheerleaders of all ages and levels to:
- Be leaner, faster, stronger
- Improve your resistance of performing 2.5min full out routines
- Drill & perfect techniques for jumping, tumbling, dance and stunting
- Be more flexible and agile
- Be less prone to injuries
INTENSITY 1, 2, 3 & 4
These workouts are split into 20min intense cardio sessions which are designed to target you endurance and cardiovascular fitness, whilst drilling your muscle memory for specific cheerleading skill (jumps, dance, tumbling, flying or basing). Each disc comes with a tutorial so that you can learn all of the moves before you get started. Each 20min workout is split into 4 sections: WARM UP, PREP STRETCH STEP IT UP and INTENSIFY.
Power is a 15min strength and endurance floor workout with exercises targeting speed and explosive power of your muscles, using cheer-specific drills. Use the tutorial to teach you the right technique and level for each exercise before you get started. After just one month of POWER once or twice a week, you should notice a big difference in your jumps & tumbling.
Strength is a 15min strength and endurance floor workout with exercises designed to increase your strength and endurance, developing all aspects required for cheerleading skills.Use the tutorial to teach you the right technique and level for each exercise before you get started. After just one month of STRENGTH once or twice a week, you should notice a big difference in your stunting!
Point is a 15min conditioning session which will benefit the execution of your cheerleading skills with exercises inspired from yoga, pilates and floor ballet. This will teach your body how to fully use the power of your legs and arms by fully engaging the muscle groups by pointing your toes,extending your limbs and focusing on your posture.
Flex is a 20min deep stretch session to be to finish your session. This sequence is designed to regenerate and repair your body, reduce DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness) you can experience when doing intense exercise) as well as work on long-term flexibility, restore your muscles and enhance your cheer skills.
